Steve Glenn is the founder and CEO of LivingHomes, LLC, www.livinghomes.net, a developer and builder of modern, prefabricated homes, designed by world-class architects that feature healthy/green materials and energy systems and great price value. The company’s first home, designed by Ray Kappe, was installed in eight hours on April 13. It recently became the first home ever to receive a LEED for Home Platinum rating and one of only 20 LEED Platinum buildings in the nation. Before LivingHomes, Glenn worked full-time with the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI) and managed the development of a $330 million program in Mozambique which will provide care and treatment to over 350,000 HIV+ individuals over the next five years. Glenn is founder and former Chairman and CEO of PeopleLink, www.peoplelink.com, a leading provider of enterprise ecommunity solutions to companies including MTV, Oracle, CBS and GE. PeopleLink raised $35 million in equity from GE, AT&T Ventures, Hicks Muse, Harbourvest, and idealab! Glenn is a Partner and a part of the founding team of idealab, www.idealab.com, a business incubation firm that founded or invested in a number of successful companies including GoTo/Overture (OVER), NetZero/United Online (UNTD), CitySearch (TMCS), Tickets.com (TKTS), eToys and CarsDirect. Prior to idealab!, Glenn worked for Walt Disney Imagineering as co-director of the Virtual Reality Studio. Glenn began his technology career while still in college, when he co-founded Clearview Software, the developer of Claris SmartForm Designer and SmartForm Assistant. Clearview was sold to Apple Computer where Glenn later served as a marketing specialist. He holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Organizational Behavior, from Brown University.
