Woody joined Prism in 2004 and primarily invests in digital living companies. He also focuses on mobile and on-demand business models. He is currently a director for LogMeIn, Everypoint, M:Metrics, KickApps and an observer on Expo TV, Comedy.com, Worldwide Biggies and Kiptronic. He was formerly on the board of Maven Networks, acquired by Yahoo! (NASDAQ: YHOO).
He came to Prism from Lazard Technology Partners, where he managed the firm's Boston office. Career highlights include serving as Chairman, President and CEO of MCK Communications. MCK Communications went public in 1999 and completed a secondary offering in 2000.
Prior to MCK, Woody was a senior executive at Shiva Corp. and was responsible for the company’s sales, marketing, product management and business development activities. Shiva went public in 1994. Previously, Woody held a number of executive positions at Lotus Development including channel management, OEM and portable computing. In 1999 he was awarded the "CEO of the Year" by the Mass Telecom Council.
Woody serves on the board of the Massachusetts Network Communications Council, the MIT Enterprise Forum 10-250 Committee, The American Red Cross, Metro West and the Bentley Private Equity Council.
He lives with his wife and two children in Newton, MA.
