Dennis Funk serves as Chief Operating Officer of Plastic Dress-Up Company (which is privately held by four members of the Funk Family). His responsibilities include over-seeing the day to day operations, distribution, the outsourcing of manufacturing and monitoring other global operations. Mr. Funk has served as President of the South El Monte Business Council and most recently as Vice President of Administration of Adat Ari El Synagogue in North Hollywood. Mr. Funk graduated from UCLA and is a CPA.
Plastic Dress-Up Company is the world’s largest supplier of plastic trophy components. In May 2007, the company ceased most of its U.S. operations and moved its production to mainland China. PDU (as it’s known in the industry) sells through a network of 32 independent distribution locations in the United States. It’s products can also be found in 47 countries around the world. In 2001 and 2004, PDU won the industry “Supplier of the Year Award.” Many industry honors have also been bestowed to several members of PDU’s management.
